Tanner Frye advises clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, commercial and energy contracting, and regulatory compliance. Before joining SMB Law Group, Tanner worked at a preeminent Midwestern transactional boutique from 2021 to 2026, and before that at a large Oklahoma-based law firm from 2020 to 2021. Across his practice, he has advised businesses and financial stakeholders in a variety of industries on sophisticated transactional matters and general corporate governance, and clients rely on him for practical, detail-oriented counsel that supports business growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Tanner joined SMB Law Group in September 2026 and shares in one of the firm's core principles: providing a comprehensive and personal experience that meets every client's needs from LOI to close.

Tanner graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law with highest honors in 2020, where he received the Martin Fellows Smith Award as the most outstanding student in his graduating class, served as class salutatorian, was a member of the Order of the Curule Chair, and was an Article Submissions Editor for the Tulsa Law Review. He earned his B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2016.
