Laura is a tax and corporate lawyer with more than a decade of experience advising companies on the tax aspects of a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions, negotiating partnership agreements, and advising companies on day-to-day tax and corporate issues.

During her 7 years in the federal income tax section of Vinson & Elkins LLP, Laura was involved in initial public offerings and complex transactions for companies such as Energy Transfer, MPLX LP, Plains All American Pipeline, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, and Jonah Energy.

Laura joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in 2019 and served as tax and corporate counsel for its master limited partnership, Western Midstream Partners, LP, handling a wide range of tax, sustainability, M&A, corporate governance, labor and employment, and compliance matters.
