Haley brings a unique blend of engineering precision and legal expertise to her corporate M&A practice. Before law school, she spent over five years as a chemical engineer in pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, including roles at Illumina and Millipore Sigma. That problem-solving mindset continues to shape how she guides her clients through complex transactions. 

At SMB Law Group, Haley focuses her practice on M&A, representing founders and small business owners on both the buy and sell side. She supports clients from letter of intent through closing, with particular attention to deal structure, negotiation, and the tax considerations that often drive outcomes. Her recently earned LLM in Tax Law adds further depth in that area. Haley joins SMB with five years of experience from boutique law firms focused on business transactions and shares the firm’s commitment to providing entrepreneurs with personalized, strategic guidance throughout the deal lifecycle. 

Haley earned both her JD and LLM in Tax Law from the University of San Diego School of Law and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
